10 Games to Play With Your Infant

So now that the weather has turned frigid and it gets dark at, like, 3 p.m., I find myself a little bored with this whole stay-at-home mom thing.  I've been trying to think of some fun activities for Mackenzie and I to do around the house.  But seeing as she's only six months old, it's a little tricky.  For example, we can't finger paint, do each other's hair, or play house.  We also can't seem to talk about boys, share a bottle of wine, or get a mani/pedi together.
Since that's the case, here's what I've come up with so far...

* Staring contest, winner gets to eat ice cream out of the container: and... she loses, I win. Yay, Mommy.
* Let's see who can scream the loudest: hold on... the neighbors called the cops on me again.
* Mommy & Baby Yoga: Oh, she can eat her toes.  Yeah, I can't do that.  This was fun.
* Ooooh, I know.  Let's play with the blocks Mackenzie loves. Again. For the seventeenth time today.
* Tickle Torture: definitely the highlight of my day... especially since she can't tickle back. And the smile on her little face is so darn cute.
* Let's play dress up: yeah, that's definitely more fun for me than it is for her.  But she's so adorable in that pink tutu! Until she spits up all over it.
* How about a game of peek-a-boo? Oh wait, that's fun until Mackenzie gets scared that she's never going to see me again and her smile turns into the biggest frown I've ever seen in my life. Not. Fun. Ever.
* Surprisingly enough you can create games folding laundry.  Mackenzie seems to think it's funny to put Doug's boxers on her head and eat his t-shirts.  I guess it's better than her eating the boxers.
* Let's read a magazine and look at all the pretty colors and shapes.  Yeah, that lasted about two seconds before she went postal on an Entertainment Weekly and started shoving pages into her mouth.
* How about this: Mommy jumps until she feels like she'll throw up, spins until she's so dizzy she falls over, and throws baby in the air until her arms turn to mush.  Baby + Mommy = happy and tired, with hiccups from all the laughing.
